Smiles All Around

K's smiles are coming out more and more every day. We can't wait for him to start laughing - He sometimes breaks out in a chuckle during his sleep and it is sooo adorable, cracks us up! M's all smiles with her new Croatian soccer shirt and ball from grandma and grandpa M's trip to Europe. She's quite the soccer player, watch out! (And yes, she dresses herself...a skirt or dress every day. She'd say that the blue in the logo on the shirt matches the skirt, to put it all together. She's much more fashionable that us.)

Two Extremes

MGM and KRM continue to grow and change daily! These days, M runs around constantly and is very helpful and K mostly sleeps. Despite the challenges, it's a lot of fun! M is mostly potty trained and K is trying to potty train me...Many times I think it's safe to change his diaper, but watch out! Here are a few more of the differences between this 2 1/2 year old and newborn.

M's nap time - changing outfits again.

K's nap time.

M's play.

K's play.

Together...still can't wake him up!

3 weeks

The last 3 weeks have really flown by. In my mind I have written every day to update everyone on the going-ons in our lives. Here's a summary of Keillor's last couple of weeks:

K has experienced his first road trip South to both Grandma and Grandpa's houses, first story time at the library, first Rockies game and first F-16 arial demonstration to name a few things. The first day of jet fly-overs were part of a practice day and the next were part of an arial show at the local airport. The jets came so close to our house that it brought new meaning to the line from my favorite movie, "Goose: No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea. Maverick: Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower." The jets flew so close that for the first few fly-overs I gathered the kids and braced for impact. Fortunately, they missed....Unfortunately, they happened to start at nap-time so for the last several days we have had a 2-year old who is extremely scared of the "air show" and won't go to sleep without several thorough scans of the sky. When you're 3 weeks old, you're not as fazed and can sleep right through it!

Already fighting for elbow space....
