Over the last few weeks Maya has learned the art of asking "Why" in every conversation and continuing to use it as many times as possible. In response, after we have exhausted every explanation imaginable we typically say in defeat, "Because that's just the way it is..." In our new life with 2 kiddos that phrase is becoming one of our most favorite expressions . For example, we went to Hawaii 3 weeks ago and I'm just now getting the chance to update the blog with a few pics. "Because that's just the way it is.." And also, K is now 9 weeks old and at his 2 month appointment he weighed an incredible 13 lbs 7 oz (which happens to be half of M's current weight at almost 3 years old). It's amazing how two children can be so incredibly different in size although they're from the same parents. (M weighed about 3 lbs less at that age and hit 13 lbs at 4 months). I guess, that's just the way it is... Another one: Most mornings, the first thing M asks is whether we can go to her tumbling class that day, but when we get there each Thursday she either runs around and doesn't listen to the teacher or sits off by herself and does not participate. Her interactions with others are sometimes baffling. And all I can say is, "Because that's just the way it is.." In that spirit, here are a few pictures to share.I'm a healthy boy!
